Major Enhancements

GD&T Proofing

New Proofing message group: Uncontrolled Features and Geometries.

Includes two new messages:

  • “Some features lack tolerances. Consider specifying them for complete definition.” – Highlights under-defined features, ensuring complete GD&T coverage.
  • “There are non-toleranced CAD geometries in the project.” – Enables quick selection of all such geometries for bulk tolerance definition.

GD&T/GPS Enhancements 1

Tolerance zone visualization now available for:

  • Profile tolerances on extruded/revolved surfaces (3D).
  • Non-uniform Profile tolerances.

GD&T/GPS Enhancements 2

DRF Info Panel now shows transformations when DRF is not fully constrained.

Tangent plane modifier supported for Orientation & Profile tolerances.

“Measured like” option lets users specify whether extruded surfaces are treated as 2D or 3D.

Features Panel

  • Complete redesign of the UI for more intuitive navigation.
  • Traditional tolerances are no longer listed as features → clearer overview.
  • New “Based on” column shows the number of points associated with each feature.
  • Modernized Feature Data tab for faster understanding and cleaner layout.

Data Preparation – Metadata Import

  • Import METADATA from various text file formats: TXT, CSV, XYZ, ASC.
  • File structure can be defined in Options → File Handling tab.
  • Ideal for integrating third-party data sources.

Simulation – Optimization enhancements

Simulation is now able to optimize size and traditional tolerances, in addition to GD&T/GPS tolerances.

Other Enhancements 1

  • Performance improvements across the board for faster, smoother operation.
  • Context menus have been cleaned and unified across the entire software.
  • QIF export dialog updated for a more user-friendly export workflow.

Other Enhancements 2

  • Improved axis-like result display for clearer 3D feedback.
  • Project unit can now be changed even after the CAD model has been imported.
  • Patterns can now be created from any feature type – measured, constructed, or theoretical.
  • Constructed Pattern option has been removed as it’s no longer needed.
  • Width features can now be created from any point-based plane in 3D or line in 2D – includes measured, constructed, and theoretical references.
  • Labels retain their position after adding or removing geometries to a feature.
